The following Sightseeing Tours are being planned for Sunday, August 9th. Please confirm your participation by e-mailing Wendy Yerxa. Don’t miss your chance to explore the Fundy Coast!
Tour A: Fundy Coast & Kayak (bus will depart hotel at 9am on Sunday, August 9th and return at approximately 6pm)
Discover the unique history, geography and biodiversity that make the Bay of Fundy one of the Marine Wonders of the World. With this tour, you will have the opportunity to walk the ocean floor at low tide and see the various rock formations at the Hopewell Rocks. At high tide, you will experience the dramatic change in tides with a 3-hour kayaking experience along the coast. This tour is fully narrated and escorted with transportation by modern, air-conditioned highway coach. A soup, salad and sandwich buffet lunch is included.
Cost: $115.00 CDN + 13% HST (Harmonized Sales Tax) per person - the cost for this tour is not included in the conference registration fee. Tour participants will be invoiced.
Tour B: Fundy Coast, no kayaking (bus will depart hotel at 9am on Sunday, August 9th and return at approximately 6pm)
With this tour, you will have the opportunity to walk the ocean floor at low tide and see the various rock formations at the Hopewell Rocks. You will have the opportunity to explore the Fundy National Park where you can take a short hike, view waterfalls, and see the Fundy coast at high tide. A soup, salad and sandwich buffet is included.
Cost: $75.00 CDN + 13% HST (Harmonized Sales Tax) per person - the cost for this tour is not included in the conference registration fee. Tour participants will be invoiced.
